Ok, so how did Jon and I meet... I'm living in Waianae with gusband Chris. Every weekend, I would leave at about 5am to catch the dawn patrol over in Laie at Pounders Beach. Sooo, in February of 2012, I'm happily bodyboarding at Pounders by myself when I notice a Japanese guy come into the water with his surfboard. Now there are no official rules regarding no surfboards at Pounders, but that break is really for bodyboarders due to the shorebreak, and the sidewash. It makes surfing really difficult. Mind you, this guy is just a glance over, and he really wasn't my type. I like my men big, and masculine. He's 5'4 with a fit body. Besides, usually Asian men don't approach me. So I notice he was having a little trouble in the lineup, and I help him out braddah/sistah kine. I'm friendly to everybody at the beach. He was really nice, and appreciative, and we started becoming fast friends. Now, everybody knows I make friends with the most diverse range of people. That's why it came as such a shock when he asked me to dinner. I thought he was joking, so I asked him "You got enough money?" referring as always to my deprecating humor on my size. He just smiled and said he was serious. Ok, I wasn't but you know me... always up for an adventure. Our first date we agreed on was, another surf date at Pounders, and PapaOle's on the way home. Well needless to say, we hit it off so much more than I thought we would. To date, we've been exclusive since March 2012, and it is now August 2013. We've done more together than most people do in 10 years. We've spent the weekend camping at Bellows, then spent the weekend at the cabins at Bellows, a week at the cabins on base in Waianae, a weekend at Ko'Olina, taken a trip to Dahlgren, Virginia, Washington DC, New York twice with him, Newport Rhode Island, drove cross country from Newport Rhode Island to San Diego, went back to Hawaii with him for 2 weeks at Bellows, and a weekend at Kuilima. Now we've set up house here in San Diego, and I'm loving my home life more than I have in over 5 years.
I realized late in life that the outside of a man really isn't important. Trust me, it's not that he's ugly, he's actually really cute. Just I know now what a real man is supposed to be. According to him, he fell in love with me because of my sense of humor, the way we communicate, and according to him, the way I make him feel like a man. I fell in love with him because he is everything a man should be to a woman.. Kind, considerate, affectionate, dutiful, a real man of honor. Oh, and he likes that I'm off.. LOL So there you have it. Miss Kitty Boots being in love. It's different for everyone, and I can't say that it is all flowers and candy. We have to work at it. But he is soooo totally worth it. Fortunately for me, he thinks I am too...

Another New Beginning....
Hi Kiddies!! I know it's been a moment since the last blog, but I think I'm back to task.
So to catch up with the experiences... I've been fortunate enough to start anew relationship wise. I've been with him monogomously since March 2012. I've known him since December 2011. I'll get into that story some other time, as this one is just a re entry into blogging.
I'm here in San Diego with the better half, enrolled in school, and currently looking for a job.
Here's to New Beginnings, and the ability to keep a good man!!
Muuuuuahh!
